Influencers Unboxing Campaign


Challenge

PayPal's digital payments platform provides its' 254 million active account holders a safe and secure way to shop online in a variety of innovative channels, from anywhere, at any time.


As a major player in the digital economy sector and more specifically the E-Commerce realm, PayPal leads the online shopping experience of consumers around the world, while recognizing trends, developments, habits and behavioral changes.


PayPal provides its customers with a number of services that protect the buyer, specifically when the item purchased does not meet the costumer's expectations.

Strategy
To communicate the key message that PayPal provides a protective shield for buyers as well as raise the consumers' awareness of PayPal's key services, such as "Buyer Protection" and "Refunded Returns" policies, we recruited a number of opinion leaders for an "unboxing" Instagram campaign (Instagram stories and posts).
The selection of opinion leaders was based on the leading verticals in online shopping: fashion, gadgets, beauty, gaming, and culinary.
